I started my morning by going out to have breakfast with a good friend, Thomas Pepper. Thomas and I went to Israel with a team last year. He has been a supporter of TEM for a long time. We caught up on a few things and he told me to be in prayer for his brother Gene about a heart problem that the doctors haven’t decided what to do about yet. I tell you this so that you would pray that the Lord will give the doctors the answer.

After this I went to the First Baptist Church of St. Charles for a luncheon with the Seniors of the Church. It was a great lunch, as usual at a Baptist function, and afterwards we heard from missionaries Allen and Sarah Damron with Thirst No More Ministries. They were interviewed by Pastor Jerry. It is always so interesting to hear how God is using people all over the world to get His work done.

I don’t remember the last time that I took a nap and rested but I had some free time before I had a dinner engagement so I grabbed a 2 hour nap before going to Terry and Jackie Doss’ for dinner where I met some more people from the church. This was about 5:30 p.m. We finished dinner and I rushed back to the church for a time of sharing with the church members. Each missionary had four groups that they talked with for 25 minutes. This started at 7 p.m. and ended at 9 p.m. I had a great time telling everyone what God has done in my life and what He is doing in the ministry. This was another time for people to get to know about me and TEM.
