Last week, we were feeling the pressure as the deadline for gathering the necessary items for our mission trip to Peru was quickly approaching. We were confident that God would provide, but we couldn’t help wishing He’d hurry, to ease our worries.

Last Saturday, Prissy and I were out at the farm, mowing the grass. Around lunchtime, we decided to head into town for a sandwich from Subway. As usual, there was a line. While we were waiting, a familiar couple walked in. We exchanged pleasantries, and the lady mentioned that she appreciated the recent email we sent from Truth.

After receiving our order, we sat down at one of the available tables. The lady came over to us and asked if she could make a donation for our upcoming trip to Peru. I told her that would be fantastic! She then joined us at a nearby table, and we continued to chat about our trip. I expressed that I’d love for her to join us on a future trip, but she replied with a kind smile that while her traveling days were behind her, she could still give and pray.

She handed me a check with a warm smile, and I tucked it into my pocket, not thinking much of it at the time. When I got home, I pulled out the check and couldn’t believe my eyes. She and her husband had covered all the remaining needs on our list. Praise God!

We are profoundly grateful to everyone who has supported us, whether through donations or prayers. We couldn’t accomplish what we are doing without the help of our special friends who believe in the importance of sharing the Gospel around the globe. Our hearts are bursting with joy and gratitude. Thank you so much!
