Z’Orange had a tremendous amount of rain and wind from Hurricane Matthew, but no one there was hurt, praise God! Port-au-Prince has had some looting going on, which is usual in any country. The United States has deployed the aircraft carrier USS George Washington to provide relief.

Even though there were no casualties in Z’Orange, there is a lot of damage to the small houses in the area. Also, because of the damaged gardens, food will be hard to find.

I will be going to Z’Orange on October 23 to prepare for a medical team that will arrive on October 25. If the Lord puts it on your heart to help the people of Z’Orange and our interpreters, just click on DONATE on the banner at the top of this page. You can donate online using PayPal, or send a check to the address there. Any donation will be appreciated. If sending a check, please let me know so that I can go ahead and take that amount with me (in case the check has not arrived by the time I leave). Also, please note on check or Paypal that donation is for “Haiti Relief.”
