Today was a very restful day for me but it was pretty strenuous for the team. The team hiked up to Jerusalem II while I stayed down and took care of some things that needed to be done. They left about 8 a.m. and returned about 4 p.m. The hike takes anywhere from two to two and half hours one way straight up the mountain and it seems it is even rougher coming down. They went up to see the building of Jerusalem II church and the shade house that Clint, Will, Kenny and the Haitians had been working on, and naturally to see Pastor Fannelis and the church members. They also went to give the children a treat of VBS. They had some shade from the clouds and a light rain to help contend with the heat.

When they returned Will, Kenny, Pastor Harry and I had an appointment with John Wesley again and he still is not willing to surrender to the Lord so keep praying for him and his brother Daniel; both are voodoo priests. Also be praying for John Wesley’s wife, Yolyn, and their baby, Relexson. It is going to be very hard for her until John Wesley comes to the Lord.

Will preached tonight to a lively congregation who were literally dancing in the aisles. Several people came forward for prayer and rededications.

Tomorrow we will be leaving and going back to Dottie’s guest house for the night and Saturday we will be back home. Spending time serving the Lord goes by so fast. What a blessing we have received!
