Today we had our first medical clinic at the church next to the mission house. Before lunch, we saw close to 150 people. It’s always so cool to see and treat these people, because they are so thankful for the medicine and the care we give them. My prayer is that they see and remember the love of Christ in us, and not just the medications we give them. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to come back to Haiti for a second time, because I get to see the people I met last year. Some of them have the same ailments, but I know that when they come here for medications they are getting so much more than just physical help. We believe that God has provided us with these medications and that He is using them to help the locals and to bring glory to Himself – for that, we praise Him. Please continue to pray for our team as we prepare for the next 2 clinics.
“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison and visit You?’ And the King will answer them, ‘I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’ ” – Matthew 25:37-40
