Today our group had the privilege to share Christ in a voodoo village. We met Daniel, the head voodoo priest in the area, and we shared the short story about Zacchaeus. The story teaches children that no matter how small, mean, or powerful you are, everyone can come to know Jesus and have Him in their hearts. We were also able to hand out dresses that were sewn by the ladies of Eastside Baptist Church. There were different sized dresses to fit most of the little girls in the village. Their smiles grew as big as their hearts when they were handed their own dress. The love of Jesus is definitely powerful!
