We have been so blessed so far. Today, we had the opportunity to have a Vacation Bible School with some of the kids (40 total) at a church called KodeKris (Body of Christ). They sang some familiar songs in Creole. Then Mr. Bill told them the story of Noah’s ark. I was able to help lead them in singing “Father Abraham.” It was so awesome to hear a recognizable song in a completely different language. Before we headed back to the mission house for lunch, we walked through the market. There were so many people everywhere!
I had no idea what to expect when we arrived here yesterday. However, I am already loving this place and these people. They are so hungry for the love that we have that can only come from Jesus. I’m excited to see what God has in store for the rest of the week!
