For Three Days
Mary Wept
For Three Days
The Disciples quivered and Hid in Fear
And for For Three Days
The Romans said “we told you so”
For Three Days
The Jews sighed a sigh of relief
Again the World was without Hope
Life went on as Usual
Had anything changed
Was their a believer amongst them
The Bible tells us
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Easier said than done
For Three Days seemed an eternity
Three days I found all the doubts that had been hidden in my Soul
Was he the Messiah-was he the true Son of God
On the Third Day
We woke with cautious optimism
The tomb was not far
But the walk seemed long
When we arrived
Something was wrong
The Stone had been rolled away
Jesus was not in There
In Three Days
Hope was restored
Faith was assured
His Promises were Kept
“for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” Romans 4:24-25
Halleluiah, Halleluiah
For He has Risen
He has Risen indeed
Happy Easter Everyone!
