What a great weekend! The Sun was shining and the air was crisp and clean. December in the Carolinas is always mild. Cool in the mornings and warm by noon. It is really hard to decide what to wear for the day. I usually layer up and end of with short sleeves.

Prissy and I usually hang out at the family farm on the weekend. We do our chores and tend to the horses. And if we are lucky, we get to take a ride around the property. After our ride, we then we head home for football and food. Saturday is grilling time at the Griffins. Nothing like a big slab of meat on the grill and a baked sweet potato. Life is good.

God’s has given us all an abundant life. He has Blessed us with more than enough. We should appreciate what we have and what has been given to us. Yes, there are others who have more and others who have not. But everyone has just what they need- when they need it.

For those who are abundantly blessed, they are to be the givers, and those who have not, they are to be the receivers. God Blesses us, so that we can Bless others. The more that we give, the more that is given. It is the circle of giving and receiving. How can God fill your cup if it is full? Give it all away and watch Him fill it back up.

“6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
