Will Tiller and I took a trip to Batesburg, South Carolina, last weekend to visit the First Baptist Church of Batesburg, which is no stranger to Haiti. Many of the church members have been to Haiti, and they have partnered with us on several projects. Will spoke at the Contemporary Service, and I preached at the Traditional Service. While we were there Tammy Burgess presented us with a generous $5000 donation from CGI’s US Corporate Social Responsibility Program for the raising of the roof on the school in Z’Orange, Haiti. With the help of CGI and others, we were able to complete the RAISE THE ROOF project. TEM would like to say thanks to Pastor Philip McNeal for the opportunity to share with the congregation, and to Betty Summer, Will’s mom, for housing us for the weekend.
