Today was Harvest Day at Jerusalem I. Haitians from Jerusalem II and IV were there also. People brought in roosters, hens, fruit and vegetables to give to the church. I was honored to preach the sermon at the church service. As you can tell by the photo, the church was full. Afterward–about 1:30, when the service was finished–everyone was fed to celebrate Harvest Day.
It took about 4 months, but the welder finally finished the luggage rack for our Ford. It definitely is better than the wooden one that we had to replace every year or so because of rot.
Also, I was very happy to see the new windows and paint job on Jerusalem I. We are building new toilets and showers for the school, so when we have conferences–like the Pastors Conference and the Teachers Conference–they will be available.
I want to thank everyone for making all of these things possible. May the Lord bless you and your families.
