What a wonderful TEM Celebration Dinner we had! It truly was more than I ever would have dreamed of, but that is the way our Lord is, isn’t it? We had a little over 100 people come and enjoy the Haitian meal prepared by Nadine Lawrence, Laura Spradling and a group of brothers and sisters, who donated their time and talent. Tom and Linda Blizzard produced an awesome DVD that condensed the last 9 years of the ministry. It showed trips from Haiti, Mexico, and India, as well as the local work we do, including the Bargain Sale that we have each year.
Karl Leiber, Will Tiller and I spoke of the trips that we have been on and what God has done through the ministry. If you weren’t there you missed the Karl and Will comedy act. There were many laughs, which is the way we as Christians should be, full of joy.
We held the dinner solely to show our appreciation for all the prayers, donations and time that everyone has given to the ministry to further the Kingdom. If you didn’t make it this year, come next year; it will be an annual event.
