Oh the road
It’s narrow and long
Come to find out
It’s a Journey not a destination
All a long we thought
There was a Beginning and an Ending
Not So says the Bible
Death has been Overcome
For the longest time
I thought my life was about receiving
But in turn it was about giving
And who we become along the way
The battles that we fought
The hills that we climbed
Were they for me
Or were they for Him
We are either growing
Or we are dying
We can’t stay here
We are called to Go
The Road is about Today
Not what have could have been
Or what could be
If not today then when
The road is narrow
With many turns and distractions
Who can we help
Who can we show the way
Seek first the Kingdom of God
Oh the road
Who will the find the Narrow Gate?
Many will travel this journey
Few will find it
Jesus says I am the Way
For you see this Journey
Was never about us
It was always about Jesus
If we will seek Him
We will find Him
If we cry out to Him
He will save Us
Oh this Road
Don’t take too long
To find your Way
For we are only promised Today!
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
