After many, many years of prayer, Jerusalem IV has been blessed by a couple in America who donated enough money to build a foundation for their church. I announced this in the church a couple of Wednesdays ago, and the congregation was on their feet with hands in the air, praising our Lord! I explained to them that TEM would hire 3 bosses to help them, but they would have to carry water, mix cement and dig the foundation themselves, because this is their church. They happily agreed. That is how Jerusalem II was built, up in the mountains. We supplied the materials and a few bosses, but they carried all the materials – water, cement, lumber, tin, etc. – up a mountain 2 hours away from the mission house. Now they have pride in their church–the one they built, not the one the Americans built.
The foundation for the church will be finished next week. I have told the congregation they need to be in prayer for the building, because we do not have money yet to build it. The estimate we have – please understand, it is just an estimate- is $35,000. So if the Lord leads you to help build this church for a much deserving congregation, just click on DONATE on the banner at the top of this page. You can donate online using PayPal, or send a check to the address there.
If the Lord doesn’t lead you to give, please pray a prayer for this building to be built.
