Yesterday in South Carolina, we experienced one of the hottest days of the year. It was almost 100 degrees feeling like 113 degrees. The day was just miserable and hard to bear. The grass was burned and the plants around the house were wilting. Not sure it could get any worse. Oh what a day of heat it was.

And then the Rain came…It was not just any rain. This rain soaked and quenched the parched ground. This rain cooled the blazing hot night. This rain lifted the attitudes of the people. Thank you God for sending the rain. Thank you God for loving me.

Our God is never late and is always on time. Our God always gives just at the right time and always enough. Our God gives so that we can live abundantly. Be Glad and Rejoice! Be Thankful!

“4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:4-10

Lord I ask you to let it Rain on me so that I can go and do good works in your name. Help me to grow in my Faith and become more like Christ. Please continue to pour out your love and faithfulness upon your people. Help them not to give up when all hope seems gone. Let us remember where the rain comes from and the love that was given from you. We are thankful for all that you do. And through your Son, Jesus who died for our transgressions, we are able to have a loving relationship with you Lord. Thank you for the Rain which reminds us of your Love and Mercy. Thank the Lord for the Rain! In Jesus’s name I pray! Amen!
