When the Truth is not the Truth
When the Leaders are tight Lipped and Smug
Judge, Jury and execution all without a trial
And when did we allow the Pharisees, Scribes and Lawyers back into the house of Worship
Wake up Church
Isn’t this what Jesus preached about
Aren’t these the lessons in the Gospels
Haven’t we gone down this rocky road before
Jesus came to Fulfill the Law
He came with Mercy and Grace
And Forgiveness as the forefront of His message
Who among you is more righteous than He
Before we cast the first Stone
Maybe you should look deep into your own wellhouse
Yes we have all sinned and fallen short
And none of us are Worthy of Christ’s Forgiveness
Who are you to Judge your Brother
Before examining yourself
Why do you ask for Forgiveness
When you can’t forgive one another
Pastors, Deacons, Leaders of the Church
I am not saying you were completely wrong
But Something is not Right
When we have to hide behind legal declarations and Hush money
Unless we change our Ways
Straighten our Paths
The Church will be no more
The Apostle Paul heeds this warning:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” 3 Timothy 1:5
