Because of some of the changes to our schedule in August, we now have a shortage of help for our construction team coming up September 27-October 3 to get the school in Z’Orange ready for the students this coming year. (There will be another construction team sometime in January 2019.) Only one American, Cal Griffin from SC, is planning to come to help paint the school and repair desks. We also have a real need to repair the pre-K school teacher’s roof. She has a one-room hut on the mission house grounds that has so many leaks she can take a shower inside it. The interpreters will help with the painting and construction so they can make money to get their kids in school.
Needs for the construction team:
$1300 to tear down and reconstruct roof of pre-K school, including tin, nails, concrete, blocks, & labor
$360 for two 5-gal containers of paint for inside and outside of school
$300 for fuel for generators and transportation
$980 to pay Ginette, Simon and interpreters for working
$2940 total for trip
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated…you know God multiplies all our gifts.
