Our journey to the Dominican Republic began early on a Monday morning, and by lunchtime, we were warmly greeted by our hosts from Love Serves. Our mission was clear: to connect with a local mission and explore the potential for a meaningful partnership.

Love Serves, led by Stephanie Smith, has a noble mission of equipping churches to restore their communities. With over 25 years of experience and more than 3,200 churches impacted, they’ve followed the teachings of Jesus to empower local congregations.

With just two days to explore, our adventure kicked off on Tuesday. We visited churches in Santo Domingo, rural communities, and small towns, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of Love Serves. Pastors shared their testimonies, emphasizing the importance of love and service in building thriving communities.

Wednesday took us into the serene mountains of the Dominican Republic, where we encountered inspiring stories of dedication to the community and faith. In every church we visited, the message was clear: love and service are catalysts for positive change.

As our vision trip concluded, we recognized the spiritual needs in the Dominican Republic and prayed for guidance on our future journeys. We invite you to join us in making a lasting impact in this beautiful country, where love and service have the power to change lives.
