Oh Zion don’t you know?
Your Walls and your Halls
They don’t make you a Church
Your Steeple and your People
They only pretend to know
For you see the Body of Christ
Was meant for so much more
More Than a membership
That meets on Sunday
More than a Fraternal Order
That takes an oath
And is initiated in a tank of Water
We are a body of Believers
Together in Jesus’s Name
Going and Giving
Loving and Caring
If we are the Body
Then why aren’t we going
Why do we continue to sit in our comfortable pews
Why do we choose to cling to the Darkness
Rise up Church
Become who you were destined to be
Be the door to Salvation
Be the Body of Christ
Live like tomorrow is your Last
Live for Him-Live for Jesus
Go and tell the World the Good News
Jesus has died and rose again
So that we may Live
And Have eternal Life
Run to the Light and be Set Free
“11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
