I am a former math teacher who has been going to Haiti with Truth Evangelistic Ministry for several years. Our team holds an annual teachers conference in Z’Orange, working with Haitian teachers from three Christian schools who are eager to learn all they can about becoming better teachers. They work with students in grades pre-K through 12th in all elementary and secondary subject areas. This year, my sister Dr. Cindy Moore and I are going to Haiti as part of a team July 12-18 for our annual Teachers Conference and dental clinic. Cindy started her much needed dental clinics in Z’Orange last summer. This is the only dental service for this community.
We have room for more teachers and dental personnel on this trip. We would also like to take others who are interested in connecting–for the first time–specifically with the Haitian teenagers for bible studies. All work is done through translators provided by the TEM staff.
