“But you have received the Holy Spirit and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true-it is not a lie.”1 John 2:27.
When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savoir we need to be obedient in reading His word. We actually should have the hunger and thirst to read His word daily. We should not rely on man to explain scripture to us. We have the greatest teacher of them all, the Holy Spirit. He promises us to teach us only the Truth and by knowing the truth we can spot the lie. We will not be lead astray by false prophets or false teachers. Many religions do not want you to read the Bible. They know that God’s Word has power and will reveal the Truth (Jesus) to us. My brothers and sisters in Christ, make time to read His word. Know the Truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the Truth, and the life.” John 14:6
