“For where two or more are gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
As we sat around and listened to each other teach the voodoo priests and the people of the village this passage kept coming into my mind; that Jesus was with us. I could feel His presence and felt as if the angels were surrounding us as we preached the Gospel of John. We finished Chapter 15 today and we will finish the Gospel of John tomorrow. One of the older voodoo priests (Daniel’s father) comes everyday and listens intently to the Word. I asked him today what he thought about the teaching and he said he hears the Word and it stays in his head. I’m praying that the Holy Spirit will convict him of the Truth. He could make a big difference in the village if he was to be converted. Today we had a larger crowd than ever. I believe now some of them wish they had come at the beginning. John Wesley wants us to come to his village in November to teach some priests in his area and the people in his village. I’m sure we will have a team to do this. I am so blessed to have Bro. Will, Bro. George, Pastor Wisney, and Pastor Harry with me. You can see the joy they have in the Lord as they teach the Gospel.
Pastor Harry preached tonight at the church about true love, the love of God. Church finished about 9:30 and we were ready for bed. Tomorrow will be our last day and it will be an exciting time with the Lord.
