We arrived today about 4 p.m. after a typical morning in Port-au-Prince of waiting on things, followed by getting a flat tire fixed. We were able to buy around $2,000.00 of food for the valley of Z’OrangĂ© and order 200 sacks of cement for Jerusalem II Church. When we arrived you could see the joy in their eyes when they saw the food.
After unloading the truck we went down to Daniel’s (voodoo priest) village to make sure that he was prepared for us to come on Monday. He wasn’t there but we left a message with his wife. We will go back after church tomorrow and visit with him.
Pastor Dorleon’s wife and some of the women cooked us a Haitian meal which was delicious as usual and we got to bed early. I think Will and I were asleep by 8:30.
