For the shepherds, it came upon a midnight clear. The Angels shone round about them and sang a Glorious melody. Breath taking, heart pounding, an Inexpressible Joy! The Wise men traveled long and far. Placing their faith in a star, high above the region. When they finally arrived, tired, hungry and almost hopeless, they finally saw the boy they called Jesus. This was Inexpressible Joy! That morning, on the third day, they arrived at the tomb full of grief and sadness, but when they saw the tomb was empty their hearts leaped with Inexpressible Joy! The boy John shouted “He is Alive”!
What is Christmas? Some say family, food and fun. Others say it is for the children. But shouldn’t it be about the birth of the Messiah. God incarnate, who came to save a broken world. He came to save Us from our Sins. Trading his Son Jesus for my life and for yours. That’s Inexpressible Joy!
This Christmas, take moment to sing a Halleluiah! Christ has come. Rejoice that the creator of the universe loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus. Lift his name high above all names. This Christmas, I hope that you experience Inexpressible Joy!
1 Peter 8
” Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,”
