Today was a great day with the Lord. We got up early and enjoyed our coffee (3-4 cups for Pastor Jeremy) and then we were off to work on the school. Pastor Jeremy, Joe and Bill started on the outdoor classroom while Pat, Andy and I started closing in the storage area where the food was stolen from. Abe and Pastor Mike started painting the inside of the classrooms. We also had the Haitian men start the foundation for a building that will be used for an office since we made the office into a library. You can see by the photos that everyone was hard at it.
I want to thank everyone who donated to replace the food, plates, spoons, and pots that were stolen. We were able to feed the kids in the village today with new plates and spoons. They were so happy, as you can tell by their faces. Again, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you all blessing these little children.
Tonight we will be going to Daniel’s village to show the Jesus film. It is amazing that every time I go to Daniel’s now, he asks me when I’m going to show the Jesus film; I’ll bet we have shown it 7-8 times this year. The people have actually memorized most of the dialogue.
Tomorrow Pastor Jeremy, Pastor Mike and I will be going out to Love A Child to pick up food for the children. I want them to meet Bobby & Sherry (Love A Child) who have blessed TEM and me so much since I have been in Haiti, and Mark Crea, CEO of Feed My Starving Children, who is bringing a team. Love A Child is about 20 minutes from the Dominican border, so it will be a long day.
Thank you to everyone who donated for all the materials to get the school ready and for replacing the food, plates, spoons and pots. May the Lord bless you and your families.
