We have had a wonderful Sunday! This morning we had our breakfast around 8:30, and then a devotion by Lane. Afterward we went up to the church, where Pastor Ken Loubriel preached a powerful message with passion. He and his wife have a heart for the Haitian people – all the members remembered them from their previous trips. When church was over we had a light lunch of sandwiches and chips, and then broke into teams deciding on the projects for tomorrow. The pastors had to make some changes on their schedule, and Betty and Denise pulled down all the medical supplies to get ready for the medical team.
When all this was finished, Simon, Chuck G, John and Carlos walked down to Daniel’s voodoo village to make sure that he would be there tomorrow with some of his people for a bible study. He said he would, so please be praying that the Holy Spirit shines His light into the darkness in this village for the next 4 days. Chuck G and the others then went to measure the property that we hopefully will purchase for the clinic on Tuesday. It measures 120 ft of road frontage, and it is 150 ft deep – it is a beautiful piece of property.
Tonight, Chuck G went in Gabriel to pick up Jerusalem IV church members to join us – the church will be packed tonight. You will see the photos on tomorrow’s entry. I’m going to church now.
Tomorrow, the Pastors Conference will start, and we will have a medical team and VBS for the children. The Lord has sent an awesome team, as always!
