Yesterday was my first day on a plane and also my first mission trip. It was a fun journey and a very big culture shock. We took two planes to get to Haiti, then a long drive over to the Z’Orange. We drove through Port-au-Prince and through a couple of villages.
Helping pump water was a cool experience. We got to meet incredible Haitians who are very sweet and always want to know more about you. They ask you what your name is, and they love playing hand games. We got to go in the church and see how they worship. The people here are absolutely lovely and curious.
