Report by Maria Wilson
Today was our first clinic day! A few members of our team helped out at the school, while the others helped set up and run the clinic in the church located inside the TEM compound. I love being able to help the Haitian people, young and old, as they come seeking medical care. They are so appreciative and are a blessing to our team. Not only did we hand out medicines, we also gave out daily necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotions, and shampoos. Although not every member of our team knows about medicine and can help treat illnesses, they are still able to show the love of Jesus to the Haitian people by smiling, talking to them, and showing them that they are valuable children of God, which is a beautiful thing. So far it’s been a great day, and I’m excited to see what God has in store for us for the rest of the day.
