Today was another gorgeous day in Haiti, with the sun shining and a cool breeze. We had a special morning, because after our devotion Karl made his wonderful fried egg, meat and cheese sandwiches for all of us. This is an amazing story of how our Lord provides all things from what we call the small to the large. Last night, Karl was lying in bed thinking about how he would like to make these sandwiches for everyone, but we had no eggs. We got up, and within minutes there was a knock at the door – Pastor John Renel had brought us a small bucket of eggs as a gift. Some would say this was a coincidence, but you would have a hard time convincing us!  Anyway, thank you, Lord – the sandwiches were great!

After breakfast the men started work again on the school, and around 11:30 I had a meeting with Pastor Dorlean and his family, which lasted for 2 hours. It was a good meeting; afterward Simon and I grabbed a sandwich and heading to Port to pick up Bill Chambless, Joe Hutchison, and Richard Schleyer. Before we picked them up, we had to go to the block house and get some ice, and then pick up some groceries. When we finished this, it was time to get them at the airport and – Praise the Lord! – their flight was on time and they got their luggage.

We made it up to the mission house around 6 p.m., just in time for dinner and, as always, dinner was delicious. We thank God for another day to serve Him!
