Providing Food After Hurricane Gustav
TEM teamed up with Salvation Ministries (Chris Hughes, founder) to take food over to the Biloxi, MS area after Hurricane Gustav hit just west of there. They were unable to get into the badly hit areas because of police road blocks but they were able to provide over 500 barbeque sandwiches to the people in an area just one block from the beach. Some were trying to return home while others had evacuated their homes due to flood damage.
It was a great day giving food in the name of the Lord and telling everyone that Jesus loves them. Salvation Ministries has a Disaster Relief fund that you can contribute to.
