Letter from Pastor Ken
Wow!! Thank you heavenly Father for the calling you have placed on each team member here in Haiti on this evangelistic/discipleship mission trip. I personally praise you, O Lord, for my supportive wife (Debbie) and my family for their prayers and blessing to come to Haiti. This trip would not be possible without the support of some other very special people. Dr. Hershel Adams of the Choctaw Baptist Ass., Brother Art Wilson of Gang Rescue, Beulah Baptist Church and my very special brothers of Truth Evangelistic Ministry.
Together we have witnessed to two voodoo priests, brought food to their villages, laid hands on their sick and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and the found of Haiti.
We have worshipped in the Jerusalem Baptist Church and have seen many come to Christ, including two voodoo priests that have come to church. This very, very rarely happens.
Together we have discipled over 35 Haitian pastors. Our teachings covered the confirmation of the calling, spiritual formations, sermon preparation, church planting, shepherding, the Lord’s ordinances, The Book of First and Second Timothy and the Spiritual gifts. As iron sharpens iron, so as one man to another has taken place here in Haiti.
Although, the week comes to an end it is just the beginning of what God has called us to do here in Haiti.
