Today the team left us to go to a hospital in Cap Haitian, about a 6 to 7-hour drive. Thank goodness, the roads there are good roads. They left early this morning in a Haitian van with Pastor Simon to help them reach their destination. They will be there until January 7, then they will fly into a small airport where we will pick them up and take them to the International airport, and from there they will fly home.

It is such a joy for me to see these young people love the Lord so much that they left the comforts of America to come to the unknown. Our world, and sometimes family and friends, tell them not to go, but they go anyway. They were called, and they were obedient. When I think of how our country is going and things look bleak, I think of all the young people that I have had the privilege of showing what God is doing in Haiti, and things look so much better. We have a generation that loves the Lord – they can change our country.

They did arrive safely in Cap Haitian about 2 p.m. Please be praying for them as they enjoy their adventure with the Lord there.
