Thanks to the Seniors and others of Wright Baptist Church, we had another successful bargain-bake sale. We were blessed to have some young men and women from Eglin Air Force Base help us with the moving of the large items. When the sale ended on Saturday, the Lord had blessed us with a little over $4000 total. Gene Holmes sold over $1000 worth of cakes, pies and cookies, for a new record that is going to be hard to beat!
It is always amazing how God takes junk – things that we would have thrown away – and produces treasure. He blesses us for our willingness to serve Him, like how He takes a person’s life that is broken, and mends it and makes it better than ever, when we just give ourselves to Him.
