Hello everyone back home! What a great week we had here in Z’Orange! I’ve had the privilege of teaching in the Pastors Conference for the third year in row. What a joy to share in this experience with Pastor Sam Hays, Pastor John McInnis, Pastor Jim Williams, and Pastor Philip McNeal. The theme of our conference was “Fulfilling the Great Commission.” This particular trip is special to me in that it’s my 10th time coming with Bro. Chuck to Haiti. I’ve had the joy of having my wife, Kristin, and daughter, Miranda, with me 9 of those times! Thank you to everyone back home for your prayers, and a very special thank you to Wright Baptist Church for your continued love and support as we minister both there in Ft. Walton Beach and here in Haiti. We’re heading home today after an amazing week of teaching, hanging out with our Haitian kids, fellowship amongst our team, and experiencing God in such a beautiful way.

I have so enjoyed Haiti these past few days. While our delay getting here was certainly not ideal, I would be lying if I said I was not happy to spend a few extra days with my (pregnant) wife. Even now, as our trip is coming to an end, I am excited to hug and kiss her this evening! On all accounts, her sacrifice in sending me off to Haiti for the Pastors Conference is far greater than mine for coming.

All that being said, this week has truly been full of blessings. I’m sure you have been keeping up with what others have written about and will understand that we have been blessed. As I taught at and participated in the Pastors Conference, I hope you will believe me when I say that the pastors have been blessed. The most beautiful thing, in my estimation, is that this week will continue to impact the church in Haiti far after we’ve gone and been forgotten. To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
